Matt is a dynamic real estate leader with a proven track record across multiple asset classes, specializing in residential properties. Over his career, he has acquired, developed, renovated, managed, and sold more than $250 million in assets. His career spans nearly every corner of the industry—principal, developer, general contractor, acquisitions and dispositions, property manager, project manager, and licensed broker—serving both his own investment funds and top institutional clients such as Invitation Homes, American Homes for Rent, and Lonestar.
As principal, Matt has directed real estate investment funds with capital deployments totaling approximately $75 million. With deep construction and design expertise, he has taken countless projects from vision to reality—combining sharp investment strategy with hands-on execution.
Dan is a veteran executive and founder who knows how to take businesses from zero to scale—whether scrappy startups or Fortune 250 giants. With deep experience in FinTech, PropTech, and residential real estate investing, he’s built category-defining platforms that changed how people buy and sell homes. In 2009, he launched AZ Bidder, the nation’s first online bidding and valuation SaaS for single-family homes. Under his leadership, the platform powered over 250,000 property inspections and helped acquire more than 30,000 homes worth over $2 billion—fueling the rise of some of the largest single-family rental operators in the U.S.
In 2017, Dan joined Offerpad as CIO & CTO, where he led property valuations, product, technology, and cybersecurity. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles at Priceline, First Data (Fiserv), and Dean Witter Discover.
David brings more than 30 years of finance expertise from top-tier institutions, including Citigroup, Sandler O’Neill, Guggenheim Securities, and Bear Stearns. Most recently, he served as Chief Growth Officer at Offerpad (I-Buyer), where he helped drive strategic expansion. Throughout his career, he has specialized in business development, structuring, and capital placement across structured finance, specialty finance, private equity, alternative investments, and commercial real estate (CRE).
David’s product expertise runs deep—spanning MBS, ABS, CMBS, CRE, SFR, MSR/servicing, originations, commercial and residential loans, NPLs, CLOs, CDOs, and derivatives. With his breadth of knowledge and deal-making experience, he has consistently shaped opportunities that bridge capital markets with real estate innovation.
Ed Vanderbilt has a strong background in leading high-volume acquisitions teams within the single-family residential (SFR) sector. Leveraging his trading expertise, Ed has developed strategic pricing and sourcing methodologies that have enabled the acquisition and renovation of over $250 million in assets for leading SFR investment firms, including Invitation Homes, American Homes for Rent, and Colony Waypoint.
In addition to his brokerage and consulting capabilities, Ed has served as Principal and Director of Acquisitions for multiple fix-and-flip and rental funds across the Midwest and Southeast. His expertise also includes SFR leasing, operations, and dispositions.
Nick Wilhelm brings over 15 years of experience in construction management, with specialized expertise in high-volume single-family residential projects. He has advanced from field manager to leading large-scale construction portfolios spanning multiple states.
At Align Living, Nick has played a vital role in expanding the company’s portfolio by conducting site visits, developing detailed scopes of work, and implementing analytics-driven project tracking. His deep construction knowledge is a critical asset to Align’s financial and operational strategy.
Katie is a leader and innovator in real estate technology, having created customer experiences for standout real estate brands including Offerpad. Her work in digital customer journeys and back-office workflow automation has streamlined thousands of real estate transactions. With a background in PropTech product development and a deep understanding of real estate operations, she builds solutions that drive both engagement and efficiency. As a licensed real estate professional and founder of online continuing education platforms, Katie uniquely bridges technology, compliance, and innovation with the practical realities of running a real estate business.

Jaremy is a real estate executive with deep expertise in scaling single-family residential portfolios—from acquisitions and renovations to dispositions and asset management—driving efficiency, growth and ROI. Hands-on leader in iBuyer operations and institutional SFR management, adept at guiding high-volume teams through every investment phase with data-driven execution. Passionate about building strong teams, solving complex operational challenges and delivering consistent performance across diverse markets.
Marty brings 14 years of experience in business strategy, financial operations, and mergers and acquisitions. He has served as CFO for businesses across the software, retail, healthcare services, and education industries. Marty’s experience spans from early-stage startups to multi-billion-dollar global enterprises. He has led complex debt and equity raises, acquisitions, strategic planning initiatives, and financial operations at scale.
He has worked closely with numerous startups and early-stage ventures, including his role as CFO of Bennett Day School, where he guided the company through a successful Series A raise. Marty has also served as a private equity investor and held board positions in businesses across consumer products, business services, digital marketing, and the restaurant industry.
